- SweetMother ;)
- I love God!! I am a travelling RN working in labor & delivery. I have an AWESOME son & daughter in law and a brand new grandson! They will be fabulous parents because THEY are outstanding. I love the Seattle Seahawks...my favorite player hands down is Richard Sherman for a number of reasons. I love to draw portraits and I am dabbling with mixed media painting...I suppose I'm an artist! I love photography, but I'm a novice & am constantly practicing as I make my way through God's wonderful creation.

The Day After...
The day after what? Father's Day. One of the most difficult days of the year for me to get past without feeling melancholy. I miss dad. He was such a fantastic man. So much charisma. I wish I could have just one more long conversation with him...one more discussion about Christianity....and life. I wish he could meet the little guy who's name is like his, and who keeps his memory even more alive in my heart.
(Didn't know that was possible.)
On a little more positive note...my amazing son is just as amazing a father already, and he was able to celebrate his very first Father's Day yesterday! It's really incredible how proud I am of him. I fall in love with him many times over again as I look through all the images I was able to take of him simply being the incredible man he is while I observed him caring for and falling in love with his own little man every day.
From the very first moment...
thru the first day in the hospital
on to day two
Soaking in the special moments
I was only able to observe first hand for the first few weeks of his life...and I am SO anxious to get back there to spend some more precious moments with them! Daddy was keeping me updated with daily pix, but he's going to be busy with graduate classes for a couple weeks, so I guess I'll have to keep stalking facebook to keep myself current until he's finished!
(Chompin at the bit!!)
Thank heavens for modern technology!
One month old as of yesterday.
(My first "stalked" FB pic)
I am beyond blessed to have had such an amazing dad.
To have an amazing son, and now, an amazing grandson!
